MANDATORY Back to School Night - Sept.15th - Parents Only
All parents are required to attend back to school night. During this visit, parents will be introduced to the staff, shown the classrooms, informed about the curriculum and much more.

Fall Cocktail Party - Oct. 17th
A great chance for some adult conversation and lots of fun with fellow NNS parents and staff.

Classroom Halloween Party - Oct. 30th
Children in the 3's and Junior Kindergarten may wear their costumes to school. Parents walk their children to their classrooms and are invited from 9-9:30 to enjoy some songs and goodies with the class. No weapons or masks should be part of a child's costume.

THE NNS Mitten Tree - Early December
The Mitten Tree is a holiday tradition that introduces the children to the concept of giving to less fortunate children in our area. Because many families have their own holiday giving traditions, the Mitten Tree is not unduly emphasized and participation is entirely optional. For interested families, a short description follows:

For two weeks before the holiday break, children may bring NEW hats, gloves, scarves and mittens to school. A teacher escorts the child who is making the donation to a small tree located in the JK classroom. The child chooses a place to hang the item. After two weeks, the JK class packs the items into a box which they wrap and address. The box is delivered to The Family and Children Services of Central New Jersey or to another local agency for distribution to needy children.

photoNNS Fundraiser - January 30
Mark your calendars!!!! The one and only fundraiser of the year and a fabulous evening out. Adults only please.

Classroom Valentine's Day Party - Feb.11th
After walking their children to the classroom, parents are welcome to join in the fun from 9-9:30 while students exchange Valentine's and share special treats and songs with classmates.

Pajama Day - June 2nd
Wear your favorite pajamas to school - co-oping parents and teacher's included!

Year End Family Picnic- June 4th
Pack your family's lunch and a blanket and bring the whole family to a NNS picnic on the church lawn. The Junior Kindergarten will "graduate" and friends, family and staff members will have a chance to visit and say goodbye for the summer.
