Leslie Ward, Director
Leslie has a Masters Degree in Education from Harvard University. She has taught children of many ages, most recently, as a substitute in all grades in the lower school at Princeton Day School. She served as the President of the Parent Board of NNS, as well as a trustee. Leslie and her husband, Grant, have three young children, all of whom graduated from Nassau Nursery School.

We owe the success of our school to the superior quality, education and experience of our teaching staff. With an average of 15 years of experience, our teachers bring a wealth of knowledge and ideas into the classroom each day. The warmth and enthusiasm throughout the school begins with the wonderful teaching staff.

Parent Board:
The Parent Board is designed to assist the Director(s) of NNS in deciding day-to-day operational policy and handling of the school's administration. These positions are open to every parent who wishes to participate on a yearly volunteer basis.

Board of Trustees:
In addition to the parent board, a Board of Trustees oversees the broader issues of the school involving financing, insurance and long term planning. The Board of Trustees is composed of approximately eight members of the Princeton Community who each serve on average a three-year term. The Trustee Board meets approximately three times each year.
