We offer several optional after school programs throughout the year to compliment the classroom experience. We highly recommend signing up early as the programs are popular and fill up fast!
Book Club Mondays
Once a month throughout the year, the JK children are invited to stay for lunch and the afternoon for a special book reading, with related arts, crafts, activities and snacks. Designed for our oldest children, a copy of the book goes home each session with the children to read and enjoy with their parents.
Three times during the year, for 6-week sessions each, the 3s and JK children are invited to stay for lunch and the afternoon to participate in special arts and crafts projects. Each session culminates in a final masterpiece or play complete with costumes and scenery made by the children.
International Club Thursdays
Once a month throughout the year, the JK children are invited to “travel the world by airplane” in an afternoon session that “takes” them to 9 different countries around the world. Making passports, coloring flags, creating related arts and crafts, enjoying food and reading stories about different countries all help to introduce our children to the bigger world around them.
STEM is an exciting afternoon of fun science, technology, engineering and math activities designed to build teamwork, creativity and problem solving skills.
